The accommodation

Each apartment can host 4 people, it has two double rooms with bathroom, kitchen and livingroom.

Castellina in Chianti: The landscape and wines tell a special story
The spectacular drive out to this almost hidden Chianti landmark, is reason enough to visit its stone cobbled streets. However, as if that weren't enough, Castellina offers a long history reaching back to the Bronze age up today and its active participation in wine and olive oil production.
The prime position between the powerful Renaissance city of Florence and the Siena skyline offers the perfect base for first time travellers to Tuscany eager to visit the many sites and monuments in the area. You can plan an itinerary which will include exciting stops in towns like Greve in Chianti or Castelnuovo Berardenga. The panoramic roads that wind throughout the valleys of Pesa, Arbia and Elsa hold many surprises.
Families with kids will find parks, outdoor activities and agriturismos with an authentic farm experience for everyone. Couples on a romantic get away can indulge in a romantic B&B while playing with the culinary traditions, wine tastings and awe inspiring sunsets. And even the seasoned adventure seekers will find Castellina in Chianti rich with events, trails and activities.

Our wines give voice to the language of Sangiovese: they represent a most authentic expression of the Sangiovese grape in its Chianti declination. Piemaggio's wines flawlessly embody the best features of this complex territory, where wines of great character and balance come to life.
The painstaking work in the vineyards, the selection of the best grapes at harvest time, together with vinification and ageing techniques that fully respect the nature of the grapes: all these factors result in top-quality wines of great honesty.
The cellar at Piemaggio is situated roughly one kilometre from the farmhouse and the vineyards, as the crow flies. It was modernised in 2014, with the purchase of new 100HL steel vats for controlled temperature fermentation.
The ageing phase takes place within 110HL vats in fiberglass concrete. During this important part of the process, the vats help preserve the integrity and freshness of the Sangiovese grown at Piemaggio.
The cellar also hosts 25HL French oak barrels as well as 5HL tonneaux, also made of French wood, used for the Chianti Classico Le Fioraie, Chianti Classico Riserva Le Fioraie and Piemaggio, an IGT wine..
