The Cosona farmhouse is part of a farm of the same name situated in the Municipality of Pienza. The farm produces cereals and extra virgin oil. Several hectares are covered by woods. Sheep graze in the fields and provide the milk for the production of the Pienza pecorino cheese. Cosona is situated in the country on a panoramic dirt road, 11 km from Pienza (15 minutes by car) and 7 km from Torrenieri (10 minutes by car), where there are various facilities (supermarket, bank, post office, newsagent and bus depot).
