THE FARM
The Capanna Suites farmhouse was created with the aim of offering wine lovers a privileged passage to enter the world of the Montalcino and Brunello territory. Capanna Suites is a luxury farmhouse, equipped with every comfort. The housing units are divided into two farmhouses, which overlook the panorama of the Val d'Arbia. A panoramic infinity pool is located in the center of the complex. Hammocks, deck chairs and comfortable seats are located in various parts of the large garden, and allow guests to always find a corner of relaxation and privacy.
The guest will be able to enjoy all the beauty and food and wine richness of the area thanks to the presence of a gourmet restaurant - Il Capitolo - and the Capanna winery which is located a few minutes from the rooms.
THE ACCOMMODATION
Capanna Suites includes 9 double rooms (8 of which directly overlook a private garden) and two communicating apartments. Fine finishes, home automation, elegance, sobriety and attention to detail are the prerogatives of Capanna Suites. Each accommodation has all the comforts (fridge, coffee corner etc.) and a small cellar containing all the wines of the homonymous cellar.
Capanna Suites offers a delicious breakfast to all guests staying. The structure can also be booked exclusively for weddings or other events.
ACTIVITIES AND SURROUNDINGS
Capanna has three flagships, which open the doors to the three main activities:
1) the gourmet restaurant “Il Capitolo”, inside the structure, open for lunch and dinner, which offers Tuscan cuisine revisited by the chef in a creative and surprising way.
2) The Cellar, just a few minutes away from the farmhouse, where the guest can discover all the secrets of Brunello, from the vineyard to the glass, thanks to the various tastings and guided tours.
3) The infinity pool on the breathtaking panorama, a unique and unforgettable location for all those who have visited the place, the protagonist of refreshing swims and aperitifs at sunset.
Many other outdoor activities are possible in the surroundings of Capanna Suites: horseback riding, bicycle tours, balloon flights, truffle hunting, guided car tours, food and wine tours, visits to cities of art and typical Tuscan villages. The staff is able to organize every day for the guest according to his requests.
Products
Capanna Suites is the farmhouse connected to the Capanna di Cencioni Winery, one of the first companies that have started producing the famous Brunello di Montalcino in the 1960s. Alongside this noble wine, the company's 20 hectares of vineyard also produce other wines: Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Moscadello di Montalcino DOC, Sant’Antimo DOC red and white, Rosso del Cerro IGT and SanGioBì IGT.
Extra virgin olive oil and two grappas, Brunello and Moscadello are also produced.
