Set amongst the north eastern hills of Montalcino the imposing structure of the 15th century Palazzo Altesi overlooks the estate. Built by the Tuscan family Tricerchi, whose marble crest can still be seen set over the old oak entrance door, since 2002 Altesino has been owned by the Gnudi Angelini family and the tecnichal and productive sectors avails of the collaboration of Paolo Caciorgna.
The accommodation
Three Suites in the heart of Altesino winery, part of an historic building in the estate. They are perfect to have a unique experience. Few kilometres from Montalcino, located in the Val d’Orcia. In a panoramic position, they enjoy lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
Owned by one of the historical producer of Brunello di Montalcino, these charming Suites have recently been renovated without loosing their original character. Totally furnished, in new elegant country style with care to the details.
Each apartment has Internet Wi-Fi, satellite TV, heating, hairdryer and kitchen. At guests' disposal: pleasant garden with lovely terrace in panoramic position and private parking (available for free). On request: visit of the cellar with wine tasting.
