Podere Trafonti is an idyllic country estate where we practice organic farming and sustainable beekeeping. It is also an elegant residence where we host groups of 6 to 10 adults and children for at least two nights for creative and recreational retreats, holidays, celebrations, but also professional retreats.

Guests are accommodated in five comfortable and spacious double rooms which are located in three different buildings including an independent structure equipped with all services that can be rented alone (see “Max”). Each room has an independent access. The rooms and common areas are heated by an underfloor heating system; air conditioning is present in three rooms ("Max", "Bosco" and "Lido") and all windows are equipped with sliding mosquito nets.
• Comfortable, spacious and bright double rooms (choice of double or twin bed). Three of the bedrooms have a private bathroom (with shower); two double bedrooms share a common bathroom (with shower). Each room has its own private access.
• Floor heating in all bedrooms and common areas. Air conditioning is present in three of the rooms (new constructions). All windows are protected by sliding mosquito nets.
• Rich breakfast buffet with a vast assortment of fresh food and drinks, locally sourced and with raw materials, for the most part, certified organic.
• Plenty of internal space to find calm and silence among the lounges, heated with modern wood stoves, or by drawing on the well-stocked multilingual library on the second floor.
• Panoramic terraces placed in a strategic position for sunbathing or resting in the shade and various outdoor spaces to have fun or relax.
• Teak-floored room perfect for group activities such as yoga, film club, music and more.
• Outdoor wooden platform placed under a large holm oak to be used for yoga, meditation or other group activities.
• Large outdoor swimming pool with poolside solarium, bar counter and refrigerator.
• Organic permaculture garden, orchard, forest and apiary to explore.
• Indoor and outdoor games, TV screen available in the second floor library, projector and screen available in the yoga studio.
• Trekking and cycling itineraries around Trafonti; useful recommendations for sightseeing or wine, cheese and honey tasting; advice on where to eat or what to do in the surrounding area.

In the laundry room you will find washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, accessible to guests upon request. The Wi-Fi network is present and functioning throughout the estate.

Ideally located between the Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana, a few kilometers from Pienza and Montepulciano, Podere Trafonti lends itself as a starting point for excursions on foot or by bicycle, cultural visits, and many other sports and recreational activities.

The estate offers a wide range of common areas such as the library, the dining room, the living room / game room and many other places to meet in a group or be alone for a while. There are various panoramic terraces for sunbathing or enjoying some shade and other outdoor spaces for fun or relaxation. Guests can also explore the organic permaculture garden, the orchard, the forest and the apiary.
At Trafonti you can enjoy a beautiful swimming pool flanked by a sun terrace with a bar counter. The wooden platform placed under the large holm oak, next to the forest and near the olive grove, and the 42 square meter room covered with a natural teak floor are available for practicing yoga. In the hall it is possible to organize small film screenings or to invent group activities together
