In the enchanting scenery of the Tuscan hills, nestled between the green of the Valdichiana Valley and the impressive panorama of the Val d'Orcia, here stands our La Sovana Country Relais. A small corner of paradise in an area of 22 hectares that will offer a peaceful stay. Peace and relaxation a step away from this fascinating ancient history of the places that surround it. Our family, who runs the hotel since 1992, is ready to welcome in the respect of the traditional Tuscan style. In this spectacular setting of these stone houses with wooden beams and terracotta, you can also enjoy local dishes expertly prepared by Giovannella and her staff who choose every day the high-quality materials, with a great care for organic products from our orchard and at zero kilometer.

Our apartments, quiet and independent, are located in a single structure called the "Granaio" in a restricted area not too far from the main building, the restaurant and the services offered. We have 3 apartments that can host 13 people.
Our rooms are designed to offer comfort and tranquility to our guests while respecting the traditional Tuscan materials. Quiet and comfortable rooms are ideal for those looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature. We have 14 rooms that can host up to 33 people.

POOL: Our beautiful swimming pool overlooking the vineyards and Tuscan hills, is waiting to give, relaxing moments in the company of your friends, your partner or your family.
The swimming pool, reserved for guests of the hotel, no more than 2 meters deep is suitable for both adults and children.

TENNIS COURTS: La Sovana has 2 tennis courts with synthetic grass located within walking distance from the accommodation. Equipped and are ideal for those who love to spend their holidays in relax not to mention a bit 'of physical activity.

RIDING LA ROCCHETTA: Just one kilometer away from La Sovana, the Riding Centre La Rocchetta is a well cared with facilities of different characteristics and soil suitable for any need, from show jumping, dressage and gallop.
Activities include horseback riding lessons for all skill levels and guided excursions in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

GOLF CLUB LAMBORGHINI: Golfers can take advantage of a special agreement with the Golf Club Lamborghini, about 20 km from La Sovana, which entitles you to a discount of 10% on the golf club fees. The 9-hole course covers approximately 45 hectares and was designed to entertain and satisfy even the most discerning golfers with its bunkers of white sand, the new design of the holes and the planting of many trees and shrubs.
In addition to the nine holes of the course you can enjoy large driving range with putting and pitching greens where there is also the golf school.

RESTAURANT: The Restaurant La Sovana welcomes guests of the estate in an attractive location by the pool, with its large windows, like a wonderful painting, that look over the Tuscan hills, olive groves and vineyards surrounding the farm The dining room, cozy and quiet, plus, in fine weather, the tables are laid in the shade of the gazebo where you can spend a pleasant time while enjoying a good meal of traditional Tuscan cuisine prepared by our Giovannella, sipping a glass of wine and enjoying the beautiful surrounding views of the estate In keeping with the Tuscan Farmhouse tradition, our family dine every night in the company of guests offering typical dishes made with high-quality products that come mainly from the families orchard, cultivated with great care.Each dish is devoted the utmost attention, the pasta is homemade and all the ingredients are strictly local to knowing the true quality of Tuscany gastronomy. The dishes prepared by the skilled hands of Giovannella, revisiting them personal adding that extra touch to exalt scents and flavors, to match the excellent wines of Tenuta Le Buche, the winery of the family, as well as the area's best wines.

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL: The Azienda Agricola La Sovana, nestled in the hills of Siena and one of the most fruitful areas for olive cultivation, produces extra virgin olive oil of high quality.
We put great care in the management of our olive groves extending 12 hectares with 4,000 plants and producing variety of typical Tuscan olive varieties such as Leccino, Moraiolo, coreggiolo and crusher. The collection, done strictly by hand before they are completely ripe, allows us to produce a high quality oil that has obtained the DOP certification by the Consortium for the protection of extra virgin olive oil DOP Terre di Siena.

And just to give more quality to the oil, in 2007 we purchased and operate an oil mill that allows us to grind the olives the day of collection. A cold mechanical grinding mill that gives our greater complexity and quality oil. Our extra virgin olive oil has a low acidity, a slightly spicy aftertaste and a lively fragrance. The balanced and harmonious spores is the perfect condiment to enhance the flavors of food.

WINE: The great passion for the land and the success of the Farmhouse led us to buy Le Buche, a farm a few kilometers from La Sovana, where with my son Riccardo together, we decided to undertake a new wine project. so the Winery Buche was founded in 2000 and in 2016 Le Buche Wine Resort & Spa, a new project dedicated to all wine lovers and of the Tuscan countryside.
