The estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, in Tuscany.
Wine-making traditions – which date back to the sixteenth century – are still deeply rooted in the vineyards of origin of the prestigious wines of the Poggio Bonelli range. The estate, which is owned – together with the Chigi Saracini farms – by Mps Tenimenti SpA, extends over 840 hectares approx., with vineyards covering a surface of 80 ha.
The estate also includes a few lovely holiday farmhouses located in two different spots, provided with comfortable apartments and two swimming pools.

The farm
Three apartments are located in the main building of Poggio Bonelli. A swimming pool with stunning views over the hills of Siena is available to the guests, next to the Tasting Room of the wines produced by the estate.
Nine apartments are located at a distance of 800 metres from the main building, on top of a hill overlooking the area, in Località Porgo, an old hamlet including a stone tower. All apartments have been fully renovated, with spectacular views of Siena and its hills. An outdoor swimming pool – available to the guests – lies among the trees in an olive grove.
The accommodation
The property also includes four ensuite rooms in the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga, next to the cellar.
The farmhouses and the tasting room are open all year round.
