Since the late 1980s, the estate, due to being granted one of the first agriturismo licenses in the Chianti area, have been able to offer an authentic Tuscan experience to our guests. Our main farm complex has preserved all of the Our family-run organic winery and agriturismo is located in the Tuscan countryside, between the villages of Radda and Castellina in Chianti. We're right in the center of the Chianti Classico, an area with an extraordinary winemaking history.

Querceto truly takes hospitality to another level and our goal is to always make you feel relaxed, renewed and reconnected and give you an exceptional guest experience.
You can choose from one of our 9 apartments and a double-suite for your stay, with each featuring Tuscan-inspired décor.
The apartments range in size and can accommodate two to nine people (40 people maximum capacity) and are equipped with a full kitchen with the exception of our more recently renovated Livia suite.
As a guest of Querceto you can take a dip in our saltwater pool, explore the estate gardens, admire the views from our terrace, as well sip and savor with a complimentary wine tasting.
The estate also features a laundry room, bbq/picnic area, ping pong table and free WiFi. We are an agriturismo with vacation apartments, not a hotel, so daily cleaning and change of linens are not provided with the exception of our Livia suite.

COOKING CLASSES - IN THE KITCHEN WITH LAURA
When you step into the kitchen with Laura, you’ll be fully immersed in the history, art and techniques of the “cucina rustica” (rustic cuisine) of Tuscany. Laura's cooking classes are always entertaining and educational, and you're guaranteed to be pleasantly full at the end. You'll prepare a variety of dishes and recipes on your path to learning the secrets behind the traditional Tuscan kitchen.
ARTISANAL CHEESES & TUSCAN SMALL BITES
The concept behind our Livia Wine & Cheese Bar is quite simple. Enjoy beautiful wines, artisanal cheeses, crostini and locally sourced salumi while taking in the vineyard views from the Querceto terrace. The cheeses are sourced from renowned Italian affineur Andrea Magi of De’Magi and the organic farm, Podere Il Casale.

Our approach to winemaking is quite simple. Let the natural flavors of our beautiful grapes and terroir lead the way to creating elegant wines with a sense of place. Each of the wines are crafted solely from estate grown fruit - from our everyday drinking L'aura Chianti Classico to the Podalirio Merlot with a true Tuscan sensibility, and our Sei Gran Selezione, well-deserving of its strict classification, to the one-of-a-kind Livia Bianco and favorite summer-sipping Furtivo rosé. L'aura Chianti Classico was the very first wine produced by Querceto di Castellina in 1998, with about 3,300 bottles. The Querceto di Castellina production has consistently grown over the past 19 years and we’re thrilled to share the wines with wine lovers around the globe, selling in key markets within the United States, Canada, Russia and throughout Europe.
