There are few authentic Chianti estates remaining like the 16. Century hamlet of Poderi Val Verde with its five stone buildings. Here there is still a feeling of... once upon the time long ago.
We are located in the middle of unspoiled nature, only five minutes from the wine town of Castellina in Chianti, only 30 min . from the pulsating cities of Florence and Siena; within 1 to 2 hours of panoramic driving to all famous Tuscan sights.

The farm

Staying at Poderi Val Verde means experiencing the heart of the Italian culture, where some of the best Italian wines are made and where you can enjoy delicious Tuscan dishes.

Our estate is an ideal place for relaxation, a perfect base for sightseeing as well as for a large variety of local cultural events.

The accommodation

In this small family-style hamlet, (an actual working farm) only 3 km from the next village, the famous Castellina in Chianti, our guests will find undisturbed and unspoiled nature, silence, sun, good food and cooking courses, wine, sports as well as experiencing the Tuscan culture in its authentic country ambience.

Surrounded by a landscaped, well-lit, park like garden sits the imposing guest house complex which house various self-catering accommodations:

the 1st floor apartment "Il Nido" (2-4 persons),

the Loft Apartment "La Bellavista" (2-4 persons),

the ground floor apartment "La Tana" (2-4 persons),

the ground floor studio "Rifugio" (2-3 persons)

the top floor/ground floor apartment "Il Giardino" (6-9 persons),

the semi-attached farm houses: "Casa Pineta (8-14 persons)

and "Casa Acacia (6-8 pers.)

as well as the cottage "Casa Capannina " (4-6 persons).
