Suvignano is the right place for those groups of people who want to share and experience the extraordinary countryside of Siena. From the farm you can easily reach the most famous local destinations, in terms of tourism and culture, such as: the Etruscan archaeological site (5 Km), Montalcino (Km 15), Siena (20 Km), Pienza (Km 25), San Gimignano and Florence.
The Agriturismo of Suvignano is located right in the middle of a farm of about 700 hectares that goes from the ancient villa, that dates back to the 1800s, to a big olive grove that produces a fine and excellent olive oil every year. The farm also produces cereals even though its real strong point is the livestock. It, in fact, keeps sheeps and pigs as livestock. It can count on more than 2000 sheeps and more than 200 “cinta senese” breed of pigs; that is the typical and very old breed of this area which is kept in the wild.
During your stay you can also buy the olive oil produced by the farm itself.
From the farm you can also have long walks up to the fascinating “Poggio Napoleone”, from its top there is a breath-taking view on the Crete Senesi and on the town of Siena.

Villa Tinaio used to the the cellar of the farm. Due to its characterists it can host families and groups up to 22 people that can enjoy moments of total relax along the private swimming pool surrounded by a park of centuries-old trees.
on the ground floor there is a wide hall, a corner with a table where you can play, two bathrooms. A living room with fireplace, a dining room, a little dining room for breakfast, a kitchen with an oven, six burner gas range, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

You can reach the first floor by climbing beautiful wooden stairs. On the left there are one double room, a single room and a bathroom with shower. On the right there are a double room, a twin room and a room with a double bed plus two bathrooms with shower. If you continue straight there are a living room, five double rooms, a twin room, two bathrooms with shower and tube and another bathroom with shower. In the attic there are a double room and a bathroom with shower.

Villa S. Stefano: it used to be the house of a parish vicar of the parish Church of S.Stefano which dates back to the 1300s and it is located along the Via Francigena. It was restored in 2006 and the villa was divided into two apartments which are totally independent from each other, they only have in common the swimming pool which has a beautiful view on the Murlo castle.

from the portico, which is private and which is provided with a table and some chairs, you enter the apartment which is close to the swimming pool.
On the ground floor there are: the living room, the dining room, the kitchen provided with all the electrical appliance and flatware, and a bathroom.
On the first floor on the left there are some stairs that leat to a double room, a twin room and a bathroom with a shower; on the right there are a double room, a twin room and another bathroom with shower.

The Crete Senesi

Breath-taking and huge hilly landscape, one of the most photographed and appreciated spots in the world.
Each one of us can recall this magical image of this land whose shape is uncomparable and whose colors dramatically changes season anùfter season.
A sort of calm green sea in spring, a warm and brown carpet in autumn where furrows of the plough stand out.
A generous land considering the variety of products that provides to those who love it and cultivate it.
Wheat, its worldwide famous pecorino cheese and its uncomparable taste thanks to the herbs eaten by the sheeps which give to their milk, a land covered with olive groves that produce the fine “Terre di Siena” DOP olive oil and rich in Truffles, among them also the White Truffle which is one the rarest in Italy.
La Creta, the clay, is the queen of this area: bricks in fact are the typical traits of the famrs of this area as they color the landscaped and its hills plus they make the buildings look bigger and stronger such as the Monte Oliveto Maggiore Abbey ( an extremely important spot in terms of spirituality, whose beautiful cloister frescoed in the sixteenth century by Sodoma and Signorelli )

There are also the La Grancia di Cuna, San Giovanni d’Asso Castle, and the Old Walls of Buonconvento.
Rapolano is instead characterized by hot srings and travertine, stoned and bricks create a beautiful mix in Asciano where besides the walls of the fourteenth century and next to the Romanesque style of the Sant’Agata Church you can also find artistic beauties such as Palazzo Corboli which has become a Museum.
Close to there there i salso the famous the Abbey of Sant’Antimo.
